Green Deal action
Define and implement a low-threshold service for children and families, where possible, aligned with the national policy for integrated services promoting children's welfare.

Status report on January 1, 2024
Two workshops on low-threshold services were held in spring 2022 and 2023. All processes related to the City's services under the Better City for Children initiative will be presented at a joint council meeting in late January and at institutional platforms in spring 2024.

January 2023 | A workshop has been held with all Better City for Children counselors regarding the definition of low-threshold services. In October 2022, every municipal preschool and primary school, as well as our centers, established designated contact persons and case managers. Currently, we are working on implementing procedures, forms, and a three-level service collaboration strategy. This will be reviewed in the near future. The pilot project or user research will be conducted in fall 2022 at two schools and centers. Following this, we'll be developing an implementation plan for the entire City. By spring 2023, we expect to complete work related to welfare services and inter-service communication. | |

In October, liaison officers will be defined in all City preschools and primary schools as well as case managers at the City’s Centers. The implementation of procedures, forms, and collaboration of first and second level services is underway and will be followed up in the near future. |
