Low-threshold services

Description of the action and objectives

Green Deal action

Define and implement a low-threshold service for children and families, where possible, aligned with the national policy for integrated services promoting children's welfare.

Implementation period

Planned completion in the second half of 2023

Status: In progress

Status report on January 1, 2023

A workshop has been held with all Better City for Children counselors regarding the definition of low-threshold services. In October 2022, every municipal preschool and primary school, as well as our centers, established designated contact persons and case managers. Currently, we are working on implementing procedures, forms, and a three-level service collaboration strategy. This will be reviewed in the near future. The pilot project or user research will be conducted in fall 2022 at two schools and centers. Following this, we'll be developing an implementation plan for the entire City. By spring 2023, we expect to complete work related to welfare services and inter-service communication.
