Description of the action and objectives
Green Deal action
The Department of Welfare will provide education for all its staff, focusing on user-focused design, cultural sensitivity, and a culture of service. This education is a key action for achieving the goals of the Welfare Policy and changing the service culture of the Department. The education supports four general objectives of the Welfare Policy:
- Every individual is unique
- Respect and care
- Proactivity and prevention
- Professionalism and vision

Status report on January 1, 2024
Torgid, the City's eLearning system, opened at the Department of Welfare in June 2023. Implementation is ongoing, and many employees have already used Torgið. It includes education on cultural sensitivity and services.
