Description of the action and objectives
Green Deal action
Plans are underway to renovate the indoor pool's banks and basin of Sundhöll Reykjavík Pool, which are getting old. In addition to this, a special diving pool will be created for the diving boards.

Planned completion in the first half of 2026
Status report on January 1, 2024
Construction should start next fall and will continue throughout 2025 and into part of 2026. Plans include improving the steam bath facilities and adding hot pots on the balconies. The building permit application has been approved.

Construction was supposed to start this year, but it was postponed due to the City's financial situation. Efforts will begin in spring 2024 to renovate the pool deck and the pool basin in the indoor pool of Sundhöll Pool. The construction is expected to take about one and a half to two years. |
