We are working hard to fix them and making more content available than ever before so expect constant updates.
In line with the Reykjavík City Policy for Facilities for Education and recreational activities, dialogue and cooperation between preschools, primary schools, after-school programs, youth centers, and school orchestras are to be increased, with guidance from the school and recreation offices in the different parts of the city. Efforts will be made to better utilize facilities within and outside the traditional school and after-school day.
Planned completion in the second half of 2024
This project is still ongoing. Work on shared housing use is progressing, but completion is pending new rules for primary, secondary, and tertiary users. Efforts are being made to integrate school bands into school facilities without extra costs.
