Allocation of funds in preschools and recreational activities
Description of the action and objectives
Green Deal action
In reviewing the funding model for the operation of preschools, after-school programs, and youth centers, the advantages and disadvantages of changing funding for special education and support in their operations will be evaluated.
Implementation period
Planned completion in the second half of 2025
Status report on January 1, 2024
In new models for primary and preschools, centralized funds have been replaced with specific classifications for children with disabilities (A, B, C, D), each receiving different support levels. The same methodology will be used for the recreational activity model. The Snorri allocation model will guide discussions with managers, focusing on distributing general support to all preschools and providing specific support for each child. Allocations will be adjusted every two months based on needs. The Preschool Office holds regular meetings in centers to review support needs. The Finance Division uses data from the specialized office.
