The indoor pool is closed at the following times due to school swimming:

In the outdoor pool, several lanes are in use for school swimming at the following times:

Samflot Floating Together at Breiðholtslaug Pool
- From September 2024 until the end of the year, free group swimming is offered every third Wednesday of the month from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. Only regular swimming pool admission is required. Swim caps are available for those who want them. An instructor oversees each session.
