Child and adolescent activities at Tjörnin

Tjörnin oversees the operations of after-school programs and youth centers in Vesturbær, the Miðborg, and Hlíðar. The goal is to provide children and young people with enriching services in their free time. All Tjörnin units work with democracy, human rights and participation. After-school programs have children's councils to voice children's opinions and ideas and engage them in participating in a democratic society.
