At Hitt Húsið Information Center, anyone aged 16-25 can come and get staff assistance to implement their idea and use Hitt Húsið's diverse facilities.
What can you do at the Information Center?
For example, you can:
- Record and play music in a fully equipped recording studio
- Edit and produce video in video editing facilities
- Hold meetings, conferences and concerts
- Practice dance or theater, to name a few things
A complete sound system, videoconferencing equipment and large screens are among other tools and equipment on site. You can also come and play table tennis, pool, PlayStation or board games.
Information portal Áttavitinn – Áttavitinn's advice
Áttavitinn is an information website aimed at young people aged 16-25.
The website contains practical information on various topics such as health, housing, education, relationships and sex. You can submit anonymous questions on various issues and get answers from a special advisory team.
Open house for ages 16-18
At open house on Thursday evenings, you can for example play video games, table tennis and air hockey, do karaoke dancing, play board games or just hang out and chat.

Public transport - Routes 3, 11, 12 and 17 stop at Blesugróf, then walk through Elliðaárdalur to Rafstöðvarvegur. Route 16 stops on Rafstöðvarvegur, about a 4-minute walk to Hitt Húsið.
Hours - 9am-6pm on weekdays. Closed weekends.
