Noise Control Grant

Reykjavík City offers noise control grants to homeowners on busy streets. These grants help improve sound insulation in homes by replacing regular windows with insulating glass.

If your dwelling is situated near a busy road where noise levels from traffic reach at least 65 dB(A) outside your window or wall, you're eligible for a noise control grant.

Building Preservation Fund

The building preservation fund provides grants for renovations or repairs to structures with special artistic or cultural significance. Grants are advertised once a year. Work must align with the original architectural style and heritage preservation principles.
