Map of the festival area
On June 17th, general street closures will be in place in the city center from 8am to 6pm.
The following streets will be closed:
Lækjargata from Hverfisgata, Fríkirkjuvegur, Sóleyjargata, and Skothúsvegur west of Fríkirkjuvegur. Skálholtsstígur will be closed below Laufásvegur. Bragagata will be closed below Fjólugata, and Fjólugata will be closed north of Bragagata. All streets around Austurvöllur will be closed to traffic, including Skólabrú, Kirkjustræti, Kirkjuhvoll, Pósthússtræti, and Templarasund. Vonarstræti cannot be accessed from Tjarnargata.
Closures around Hallgrímskirkja will be in place from 10am to 2pm.
The following streets will be closed:
Eiríksgata at Barónsstígur, Njarðargata at Eiríksgata, and Frakkastígur at Bergþórugata will also be closed, along with Skólavörðustígur and Bankastræti.
