Waste collection calendar
Reykjavík City has now implemented an online waste collection calendar. You enter an address in the box below to see when waste will next be collected at your home.
You can also see the closest drop-off center for sorted recyclables and the shortest walk there. You can also download a printable waste collection calendar for your district.
Please note, the waste collection calendar may not be accurate in districts where bin exchanges are ongoing or completed. In these areas, all waste categories are generally collected every 14 days. Adjustments to the collection days are underway, and a new city-wide waste collection calendar will be released later this summer.
