Asbestos
Asbestos fibers are very durable and can withstand high temperatures. Asbestos was previously used for fireproofing, thermal insulation and in various industries. Working with asbestos produces needle- or thread-like asbestos dust. This dust is hazardous to health and its use is banned in the European Economic Area.
