An assessment of the first phase of the CityLine project. The project work is in collaboration with Transport for the Capital Area with the goal of evaluating public health impact factors.
Planned completion in the second half of 2022
The public health assessment for the initial phase of the CityLine project has been completed. The assessment suggests that the increased use of public transportation and active travel methods, which can be expected due to the introduction of CityLine, will positively impact mental and physical health. Furthermore, it's likely that CityLine will improve access to various destinations and services, enhancing social cohesion and equality. The public health assessment also indicates that good, accessible public transportation can prevent isolation and exclusion of certain groups.
