Green Deal action
Updated signage and digital public health maps. The goal is to find ways to increase residents' access to local options to improve their health.

Work has begun to map Grafarvogur as a pilot project. Further development in collaboration with the outdoor city office.

Mapping of Grafarvogur is being carried out from a public health perspective, aiming to increase access to outdoor activities, promote health, and enhance residents' well-being. |
January 2023 | Work is currently underway to map out Grafarvogur as the first district, which will serve as a model for other districts. A student is working on this project. |
July 2021 | The Project Manager of Public Health Affairs has met with officers from the Department of Sports & Leisure and the Department of Environment & Planning. The creation of public health maps and renewal of running route maps is expected to commence in Fall 2022. |
