July 2023

A consultation forum for city festivals is scheduled for fall 2023. Representatives of the six city festivals will be assembled this fall, and the consultation forum will be formally established. The idea is for leaders of the city festivals to meet with Reykjavík City to discuss various issues related to their collaboration with the City and ways to strengthen cooperation among the festivals, such as resource sharing. In this forum, city festivals will also have the opportunity to receive interesting education on topics like green steps in event planning, marketing and promotion, funding, and more. The idea is to bring the festivals together at least once a year.
