A discussion platform for city festivals that have a collaboration agreement with Reykjavík City. The aim of this collaborative platform is to facilitate cooperation and knowledge sharing on the operation of city festivals.
Ongoing projects
Every third year, five city festivals are funded through the City Festival Fund. The goal of the Fund is to support community, development, and the operational foundation of festivals in Reykjavík. Applications were open this year, and in May, the festivals Hinsegin Dagar, Hönnunarmars, and Reykjavík Dansfestival received 7.5 million in support. Óperudagar was newly added as a city festival and received 5 million.
