Green Deal action
'Hand in Hand' is part of an initiative in accessibility in the broadest sense at Reykjavík Art Museum and the City Museum. A project team from the museums is collaborating with diverse groups and associations with the aim of reducing obstacles such as cultural, economic, linguistic, mental, and physical barriers.

Action completed. The project 'Hand in Hand' was carried out by the educational departments of the City Museum and the Reykjavík Art Museum, with support from the Icelandic Disability Alliance. The goal was to increase access for marginalized groups to the museums, with special openings, guided tours, and other facilitation to enable disabled individuals to enjoy the museums and what they have to offer to the city's residents and visitors.
