Purification of the water in the pool takes place through sand filters, up to 48 times a day in the tubs. Automatic chlorination stations are responsible for maintaining water quality according to the standards set by the Environmental and Food Agency.
Steam room | Common to men and women in the outdoor area | Temperature: |
Heated cold water up to 43°C.
Water in the main pool and play pool is heated cold water. Water in tubs is thermal spring water. The pH of the water in the pools is controlled by the use of carbon dioxide and therefore has a pH of about 7.7, which makes it possible to limit the use of chlorine.
Chlorine levels are determined by Article 17 of Regulation No 814/2010 on Hygiene at Swimming and Bathing Facilities.
Other playing equipment: a small slide of 1.2 m along with a variety of floating toys.
Grafarvogslaug Pool has food and beverage sales and you can buy a variety of light snacks, cosmetics, and more.
