Category 1 - Married parents, cohabiting partners, one parent in school.
Category 2 – Applicants for discount including; single parents, both parents in school, one or both parents with disabilities or on rehabilitation pension from the Social Insurance Administration, and Reykjavík preschool staff.
Proposals for changes to the fee schedule

The proposals address the structure of the preschool day, children's hours of stay, and a new fee schedule. The goal is to safeguard the quality of early childhood education, reduce unpredictable understaffing, and ensure stability for children, parents, and staff.
