Support from Child Protection Services

Parents and children with pending child protection cases can receive a wide range of support and counseling. Parents are consulted when developing a plan concerning the handling of cases to describe how the support is provided. The child becomes actively involved in the treatment at the age of 15.

At-home diagnosis and consulting

Parents are supported in their homes through at-home diagnosis and consulting to empower them personally as well as in the upbringing and care of their children. The support lasts for 3 to 4 months.

Emphasis is placed on parenting counseling and working with parents to solve family challenges. The support consists primarily of visits by counselors and working with the family.

Support families

Support families are resources designed to support parents in their role, giving them rest, strengthen a children's’ support networks and increasing their opportunities for social inclusion.
