Private preschools

Nearly twenty private preschools have a service contract with the City of Reykjavík. Parents wishing to use their services are advised to contact the preschools directly. Note that children enrolled in private preschools are taken off the waiting list for the City's public preschools. Parents can apply for transfer to the City's public preschools through Vala’s application system.
