Registration for preschool care during Holy Week remains open until March 30.
Parents who need child care during Holy Week must request it by registering their child for care. Payment is required for the days a child is registered, whether they attend or not. Children who are not registered are assumed to be on holiday. This year, these days fall on April 14-16. Registration takes place at minarsidur.reykjavik.is/en.
Good to know:
- Care is optional on these days, and preschool fees are waived if applicable.
- You must register specifically if you want care for your child on these days, and fees will apply.
- Unregistered children are assumed to be on holiday.
- Children can be registered for care on one or all days: Monday, April 14; Tuesday, April 15; and Wednesday, April 16.
- Payment is required for registered days, whether the child attends or not.
- Registration is binding and only valid for registered days.
