Planned completion in the second half of 2030
Status report on January 1, 2024
We are preparing plans for Leirtjörn, Borgarspítalareitur, Sóleyjarrimi, and Safamýri, starting with an idea search. The first land-use plans for the initial phase at Kringlureitur are being developed. We are continuing planning for Elliðaárvogur, Ártúnshöfði, Gufunes, Skerjafjörður, and Keldur in collaboration with Transport for the Capital Area. Additionally, we will continue working on the areas around Sæbraut and Miklubraut with a highway cap/tunnel. The City of Reykjavík and Transport for the Capital Area signed a declaration of intent earlier this year for the development and construction of Keldnaland and Keldnaholt. A competition has concluded, and we are now refining plans for the area.
