The objective of the project is to assess food waste in five cafeterias across Reykjavík City and subsequently examine the effects of applying stops and providing education on ways to reduce food waste.

Preparatory work has begun on a project collecting data on methods to assess actual food waste, exploring the academic status of knowledge, and contacting cafeteria managers for participation. We've reached out to the University of Iceland and proposed a collaboration on a research project. The project's progress has been delayed due to staffing changes
