Green Deal action

The aim is to provide education on the importance of nutrition and increased protein needs in later years for senior citizens in the community centers within the Department of Welfare.

Status report on January 1, 2024

A nutritionist held informative lectures at all community centers in the spring of 2022. In addition, a new presentation was held at five community centers on the results of a recent study on the nutrition of older people.

  July 2023

A nutritionist held informative lectures at all community centers in the spring of 2022. In addition, a new presentation was held at five community centers on the results of a recent study on the nutrition of older people.

  January 2023 A nutritionist presented the findings of a new study on the nutrition of older people at a community center. Four more are planned for the spring of 2023.
  July 2022 A nutritionist held informative lectures at all community centers in the spring of 2022. Additionally, the Director of Health's Public Health Fund provided support for further education and dissemination of the results of the recent nutritional intervention by a nutrition doctoral student. The presentations are planned for spring 2023.
