Water Management Plan - Action Plan

Description of the action and objectives

Green Deal action

Contaminants have been detected in the Tjörnin pond. We need to better identify pollution sources and subsequently develop an action plan to improve the condition of Tjörnin. We have submitted a grant application to the European Union's LIFE implementation fund. This is a long-term project where progress will depend on whether and when funding is secured.

Implementation period

Planned completion in the second half of 2025

Status: In progress

Status report on July 1, 2024

Last fall, we received confirmation of a grant from the European Union's LIFE implementation fund, with disbursements scheduled to begin in 2025. If everything proceeds as planned, we will begin organizing sampling activities in 2025.
