Sólborg Preschool hosted a farewell ceremony to honor celebrated preschool teacher Regína Rögnvaldsdóttir, who retired after decades of dedicated service. Agreement signed with Víkingur

Reykjavík City and the football club Víkingur signed an agreement today transferring ownership of Víkingur's sports facilities to Reykjavík City, along with a timeline for the development of the club's activity area.

Reykjavík Arts Festival opens tomorrow with a packed program

The Reykjavík Arts Festival kicks off at the Reykjavík Art Museum tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, at 2 p.m. An exciting lineup awaits, with the festival running through June 14th.

Climate City Contract meeting with participants

Earlier this month, participants in Reykjavík City's Climate City Contract convened at City Hall. This marked the fourth meeting held with participants since the annual general meeting in October. Each meeting centers on a specific theme. This gathering focused on tourism and featured a presentation on the updated Green Steps program for Reykjavík City operations.
