Green Deal action

Working on new promotional materials that raise awareness of Reykjavík as a city to visit, live, study, work, and create. Work is done based on the main goals of the City of Reykjavík's Tourism Policy. More details in the Green Deal 2022 - 2023 and Reykjavík City's Tourism Policy.

Status report on January 1, 2023

Action completed. Work on the promotional material continued in the latter part of the year. The purpose of promotional materials is to establish Reykjavík's unique position in the minds of tourists and encourage people to spend more time in Reykjavík during their trip around Iceland. The promotional campaigns ‘Restart, Reconnect’, and ‘Are You Ready for Reykjavík’ continued, targeting mainly wealthier American and British tourists.
