The purpose of promotional materials is to establish Reykjavík's unique position in the minds of tourists and encourage people to spend more time in Reykjavík during their trip around Iceland. The promotional campaigns ‘Restart, Reconnect’, and ‘Are You Ready for Reykjavík’ continued, targeting mainly wealthier American and British tourists.
