The annual Breiðholt singing competition took place at Bláberið in Seljaskóli on Dec. 10. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the hall was filled with music, excitement, and talent.

Construction of the new Arnarnesvegur between Rjúpnavegur and Breiðholtsbraut is progressing well, and many key projects have now been completed. The new pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Dimma is complete and open. Several sections of Breiðholtsbraut have also been paved, along with walking and cycling paths in Elliðaárdalur.

Reykjavík City recently ran a pilot project where the four largest workplaces in Vatnsmýri participated in a fun competition to encourage alternatives to driving.

Mayor Heiða Björg Hilmisdóttir presented awards yesterday for the most beautiful holiday decorations in Reykjavík's city center. These awards encourage business owners to decorate their windows and shops during the holiday season and recognize those who create a warm, bright, and festive atmosphere throughout the city.
