Breiðholt singing competition held with great fanfare at Bláberið
The annual Breiðholt singing competition took place at Bláberið in Seljaskóli on Dec. 10. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the hall was filled with music, excitement, and talent.
The selection committee faced a difficult choice
This year, eight contestants from three youth centers participated, leaving the selection committee with a tough decision. In the end, Halina from Hundrað&ellefu emerged as the winner with the song "From the Start." Mikki from Hólmasel took second place with the song "Vienna," and Alyssa from Bakkinn came in third with an emotionally powerful performance of "All of Me."
The evening's hosts were Judith and Saga from Hólmasel, who kept the energy high and guided the audience through the night with skill and enthusiasm. The evening's surprise guest was ELVAR, who elevated the atmosphere to another level and made the night even more memorable.
The competition was spectacular and once again showed that Breiðholt is home to many talented young people who have bright futures ahead of them in music and the creative arts.
