Mayor Heiða Björg Hilmisdóttir presented awards yesterday for the most beautiful holiday decorations in Reykjavík's city center. These awards encourage business owners to decorate their windows and shops during the holiday season and recognize those who create a warm, bright, and festive atmosphere throughout the city.

This year, three businesses received awards for exemplary decorations:
