About Buskinn

Buskinn is a youth center operated by the Reykjavík City Department of Education & Youth for the students of Vogaskóli. It is operated by Kringlumýri Recreation Center. The target audience are children and adolescents from grades 5 to 10.

Einelti í skóla- og frístundastarfi

Einelti og ofbeldi getur haft varanleg áhrif á sálarlíf barna og unglinga. Það á ekki að viðgangast í skóla- og frístundastarfi. Allir starfsstaðir barna og unglinga eru með áætlun gegn einelti. Foreldrar sem fá vísbendingar eða upplýsingar um einelti ættu að taka það alvarlega og tilkynna til viðkomandi aðila. Starfsstaðir skóla- og frístundasviðs Reykjavíkurborgar starfa eftir gátlista vegna eineltis sem unninn var í víðtæku samráði fagaðila. 

Röskun á skóla- og frístundastarfi

Tilmæli eru um viðbrögð foreldra / forráðamanna barna í skólum og frístundastarfi. SHS hefur verið falið af sveitarfélögum á höfuðborgarsvæðinu að fylgjast með veðri og veðurspám og senda út tilkynningar ef á þarf að halda, eftir atvikum í samráði við lögreglu og fræðsluyfirvöld.

Fridays: 7:30-10:30pm - joint

 

Youth centers sometimes join together for summer activities, so it's important to check social media for current locations. Location information for summer activities for children ages 10-12 is shared through advertisements and emails to parents.

Child prosperity

The Act on the Integration of Services in the Interest of Children’s Prosperity has come into effect. The goal is to ensure children and guardians receive the right assistance, at the right time, from the right parties. Families and children in need of early support have guaranteed access to a prosperity liaison in the child's immediate environment, such as in preschool or primary school. The prosperity liaison offers information and guidance on services and ensures that children and guardians have unhindered access to these services. Children, youth, and guardians can reach the school prosperity liaison to request integrated services.
