About Sigyn

Sigyn is a youth center operated by the Reykjavík City Department of Education & Youth and run by the Brúin Recreation Center.
The target group includes children and adolescents from grades 5 to 10 of Rimaskóli.

Félagsmiðstöðvarnar sameinast stundum um opnanir á sumrin og því mikilvægt að fylgjast vel með staðsetningu opnanna á samfélagsmiðlum. Upplýsingar um staðsetningu sumarstarfs fyrir 10-12 ára börn kemur fram í auglýsingum og tölvupóstum til foreldra.

Einelti í skóla- og frístundastarfi

Einelti og ofbeldi getur haft varanleg áhrif á sálarlíf barna og unglinga. Það á ekki að viðgangast í skóla- og frístundastarfi. Allir starfsstaðir barna og unglinga eru með áætlun gegn einelti. Foreldrar sem fá vísbendingar eða upplýsingar um einelti ættu að taka það alvarlega og tilkynna til viðkomandi aðila. Starfsstaðir skóla- og frístundasviðs Reykjavíkurborgar starfa eftir gátlista vegna eineltis sem unninn var í víðtæku samráði fagaðila. 

Röskun á skóla- og frístundastarfi

Tilmæli eru um viðbrögð foreldra / forráðamanna barna í skólum og frístundastarfi. SHS hefur verið falið af sveitarfélögum á höfuðborgarsvæðinu að fylgjast með veðri og veðurspám og senda út tilkynningar ef á þarf að halda, eftir atvikum í samráði við lögreglu og fræðsluyfirvöld.

Child prosperity

The Act on the Integration of Services in the Interest of Children’s Prosperity has come into effect. The goal is to ensure children and guardians receive the right assistance, at the right time, from the right parties. Families and children in need of early support have guaranteed access to a prosperity contact in the child's immediate environment, such as in preschool or primary school. The prosperity contact offers information and guidance on services and ensures that children and guardians have unhindered access to these services. Children, youth, and guardians can reach the school prosperity contact to request integrated services.
