Reykjavík City Human Rights Awards 2026
Nominations are requested for the Reykjavík City Human Rights Awards 2026. Individuals, groups, associations, or institutions that have notably promoted human rights can be nominated.

The deadline for nominations is April 24, 2026.
The recipient of the Reykjavík City Human Rights Prize is awarded ISK 600,000.-
The Award will be presented at Höfði by the Mayor of Reykjavík on May 11 in connection with Reykjavík City Human Rights Day.
The purpose of the Human Rights Awards is to highlight Reykjavík City's Human Rights Policy and the importance of a society that respects human rights.
The selection committee for the awards is appointed by the Human Rights Council of Reykjavík City for one year at a time. The three appointed jury members will have worked on matters of equal opportunities and human rights.
