About the preschool
The opening hours of the preschool division are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Ártúnsskóli is a joint primary school, preschool, and after-school program. The preschool is divided into three groups where 61 children can attend at a time. The youngest children are in Árholt, then they go to Lágholt and the oldest children are in Háholt. The preschool has about 15 staff.
The Principal is Ellen Gísladóttir.
The Assistant Principal is Hólmfríður Hannesdóttir

The Center for Ártúnsskóli
Ártúnsskóli falls under East Center. East Center provides a wide range of services to the residents of Árbær, Grafarholt, Grafarvogur, and Kjalarnes and is a comprehensive information source for municipal services. The Center provides welfare services, school services to preschool and primary schools, day care and recreational counseling, and various other services.
