Starting Sept. 1, all city-run preschools will operate from 7:30am to 4:30pm. This follows changes to the Rules on Preschool Services approved by the City Executive Council on June 5.

The Department of Environment & Planning is one of the Icewater partners. The Nordic Hydrological Conference (NHC) took place in Iceland June 3-5. Experts from Nordic and Baltic countries gathered there to discuss how climate change affects water environments and how to respond with adaptation and mitigation measures.

Hlemmur is gradually transforming into a more pedestrian-friendly and attractive area, with more space than before set aside for diverse daily life activities. Now the youngest generation has been invited to play at Hlemmur with a temporary playground that sets the stage for what's coming with the planned playhouse.
