Applications open for visual communication grants on Reykjavík history

Are you working on a book, a film, a TV series, a website, or any other kind of project related to the history of Reykjavík and plan to use images from the Reykjavík Museum of Photography in your project? Then you can apply for a grant from Reykjavík City to offset the purchase cost. The grant is a discount on the cost of publishing images.f

Reykjavík swimming pool closures for summer maintenance

Reykjavík's annual swimming pool maintenance closures are now underway. Maintenance closures occur during summer months since outdoor maintenance work cannot be performed during winter.

Two polling station changes in Breiðholt

Two polling stations in Breiðholt are changing for the May 16 city council elections. FB (Fjölbrautaskólinn í Breiðholti, the Breiðholt comprehensive secondary school) will replace the Austurberg Sports Center as a polling station, while Seljaskóli will replace Ölduselsskóli.
