Career Development
Mixtúra supports SFS workplaces with advice on digital technology and creative work, promotes collaboration with universities on professional development, and supports innovation.
Department of Education & Youth workplaces can request free education, workshops, and training sessions for groups of all sizes. Mixtúra's Educational Consultants are located at the Faculty of Education at the University of Iceland, which also houses the Resource Lending Library.
The Reykjavík Education Policy
The main objective of the Reykjavík Education Policy is for all children to grow, develop and feel happy in a democratic society that is based on human rights and respect for the diversity of human life.

Mixtúra staff development - Requests for free training or workshops for workplaces
SFS facilities can request training/workshops from Mixture’s consultants for larger and smaller groups as well as for individuals. The workshops are implemented in consultation with each facility. Education, workshops and counseling can be arranged at mixtura@reykjavik.is.
Sessions are typically 1.5 hours unless otherwise requested.

- Cricut cutter (including t-shirt, bag, and wall sticker making)
- Coding and computational thinking

- Artificial intelligence possibilities
