A new manifestation of sexual offenses

The sending of nude photos by young people is a new manifestation of sexual offenses. Recently, there have also been instances of adults approaching children and adolescents to purchase sexual images from them. Here you can see a letter that was sent to parents/guardians along with a video where the situation is further explained.

Educational websites

From Ö to A is an excellent and well-crafted site covering all aspects of LGBT+ matters from Ö to A.

Kompás - Vísir has episodes of Kompás that discuss various issues such as sexual matters, sexual violence, the sending of nude photos, and more. It can be useful for staff to watch the episodes to better understand the situation. Not necessarily good episodes to show adolescents, except maybe to students in the oldest grades of primary school.

Hilja's Sex Education Website is an excellent site developed from UNESCO's goals for comprehensive sex education. There, you can find content pieces and teaching ideas for students of all ages.

Pussypedia is a website that discusses the vagina in every way, including appearance, function, hygiene, sexual pleasure, and more.

It's On Us is a campaign designed to raise awareness and address sexual assault. There, you can, among other things, find very short videos that tell the stories of victims, perpetrators, friends, and relatives. Each video is accompanied by discussion questions to prompt viewers to further consider the harmful effects of sexual violence.

Relationships, Sex, and Feelings - The Line is an Australian website that discusses various aspects of relationships, sex, feelings, masculinity, and more. It provides useful information for teachers, parents, and adolescents.

Samtökin '78 - on the website of The National Queer Organization of Iceland, you can find various information and knowledge about LGBT+ matters.

Sex and Society are the sex education association in Denmark, and those who sign in can access an enormous amount of high-quality and well-prepared sex education material for all ages

Self-Image is a nice website about the self-esteem and body image of children and adolescents. Check out the toolkit for various ideas. Suitable for all ages.

Go Ask Alice about sexual health is a website managed by Columbia University that seeks to answer questions about various issues, including sexual health.

The Swedish Association for Sexual Health - here is a superb website of the Swedish sexual health association. It contains a wealth of good teaching material for students of all ages.

Stop Violence is a website by the Directorate of Education. It offers various educational materials for preventative work against violence. The materials are divided by age levels and are very accessible.
