Klettaskoli School is a special school for students with developmental disabilities. Klettaskoli School serves the whole country and admits students with:

  • Moderate, severe, and profound developmental disabilities with or without additional disabilities.
  • Mild retardation and defined additional disabilities/handicaps such as autism, blindness, deafness, and severe motor impairment.

How do I apply?

You apply for your child online on the website of Klettaskoli School. The application must be accompanied by diagnosis and reports from the student's preschool or primary school as applicable. Please note that an application must be submitted to the school by March 1 of each year.

Participation Classes

A participation class is a specialized learning resource under the auspices of Klettaskoli School, but based in a public primary school. Students benefit from the professional services and knowledge of Klettaskoli School, but also participate in the work and community of the public school as appropriate.
