Opening hours
The social activities program at Seljahlíð is open Monday through Thursday from 9:30am–4pm and Fridays 10am–2pm.
- Lunch for residents from 11:45am–12:30pm every weekday
- Lunch from 12:30pm to 1pm on weekdays for others (meal orders must be received by 1pm the day before)
- Afternoon coffee for residents at 2:30pm every weekday

Program
Emphasis is placed on regular exercise with activities every weekday. Boccia is played onsite. In addition, physiotherapy is available in-house. Residents also engage in clay modeling and general crafts (like knitting, embroidery, and fabric painting among others). Religious service is conducted by the priests of Breiðholt Parish. At Seljahlíð, lunch is cooked and food is available for purchase every day of the week. The daily schedule and menu are readily available onsite.

About the social activities
The aim of the social activities at Seljahlíð is to prevent and reduce social isolation by offering leisure and social activities, with support, from Monday to Thursday, from 9:30am–4pm, and on Fridays from 10am–2pm. Everyone is welcome. Social activities serves as a platform for community, human interactions, and creative pursuits. We strive to engage the initiative and skills of everyone.
