Polish class
Polish studies are an option for primary school students who want to maintain their native language proficiency. The study can be a prerequisite for the student to be exempt from Danish. Polish classes are held once a week in person. In-person classes are for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in the capital area. Location and times change yearly based on student numbers and where they live. Distance learning in Polish is for students in 9th and 10th grade in the capital area.
In-person learning
Polish classes are held once a week in person. In-person classes are for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in the capital area. Location and times change yearly based on student numbers and where they live. On-site teaching takes place at 3:30pm. Classes last 80 minutes, with additional homework expected.
Attendance is mandatory as these are in-person classes. Parents must report absences due to illness on the same day.

Teaching for students from all schools with postal code 109:
- Tuesdays 3:30pm-4:50pm at Breiðholtsskóli
Teaching for students from all other schools in Reykjavík:
- Thursdays 3:30pm-4:50pm at Laugalækjarskóli
Online classes
Distance learning in Polish is for students in 9th and 10th grade in the capital area. The course takes place through the Google Classroom teaching site. Students must complete and submit weekly assignments. The student is expected to spend about 120 minutes per week solving Polish assignments.
