Miðberg

Miðberg recreation center offers diverse activities for children and young people ages 6-16. The Center, built on the foundation of Fellahellir, has served Breiðholt residents since 1974. The Center emphasizes offering varied and interesting recreational activities guided by skilled staff. Miðberg is close to the natural gem Elliðaárdalur, and Breiðholtslaug Pool is across the street.

Child and adolescent activities at Miðberg

Miðberg oversees the operation of after-school programs and youth centers in Breiðholt. The goal is to provide children and young people with enriching services in their free time. Special emphasis is placed on preventative work, promoting positive social development, ensuring the activities are accessible to all, and making information available about local sports and leisure offerings.
