About Seljatjörn

A large green area surrounds an artificial pond called Seljatjörn in central Seljahverfi, Breiðholt. The area around the pond is a popular outdoor recreation area, especially for children and older adults. Schools and homes for the elderly are nearby. The park includes a gazebo and eco-friendly playground equipment. Design and construction of Seltjörn and the surrounding public park finished in 1990.
