The Building Administration of Reykjavík Theater Company oversees the operation and maintenance of the theater's property and the fulfillment of the agreement between Reykjavík City and the Theater Company regarding the Reykjavík City Theater.
According to an agreement between the Reykjavík Theater Company and Reykjavík City, approved by the City Executive Council on June 16, 2004, a three-person building administration operates for the Reykjavík City Theater. Two representatives are appointed by the Mayor of Reykjavík and one is appointed by the board of the Theater Company.
Óli Jón Hertevig and Huld Ingimarsdóttir represent Reykjavík City in the Reykjavík City Theater Building Administration.
