Individualized support for children

Children aged 6 to 18 can receive personal support to increase community engagement, meet challenges and strengthen their self-image. The support is tailored to the needs and wishes of the child, guided by their well-being, and may be provided inside or outside the home.

How do I apply for individualized support?

Individualized support for children is part of the support program for children and their families. The first step in applying for the support program is to schedule a call from a counselor.

What is offered?

Individualized support involves a specialist meeting with the child on a regular basis for longer or shorter periods of time. The specialist works according to a support plan prepared in collaboration with counselors, parents and the child if it is mature enough.

The individualized support includes companionship and support for hobbies and leisure activities.
