Indicators

To measure the progress of the Green Deal, Reykjavík City has adopted three standards from the international organization World Council on City Data (WCCD), which assesses cities' sustainability status.

The standards each consist of 60-150 indicators in 17 categories that control and measure the performance of cities in each focus area.

Implementing the Green Deal

In total, the standards contain 250 indicators. Each indicator can be linked to a sub-objective of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, making this work good preparation for their implementation.
