Digital service transformation
Digital transformation primarily encompasses the digital adaptation of services currently offered by the City.
A special initiative has been launched to drive this transformation through the end of 2023. That is a Herculean task with few parallel projects in Iceland and which touches all workplaces and staff dedicated to enhanced services thanks to modern technology.
Implementing the Green Deal
Transforming services with improved technical infrastructure, data stream harnessing, process automation, increased data utilization, analysis tools, and environmentally friendly IT operations is part of implementing the Green Deal.
Digital service transformation involves redesigning and organizing services based on user needs. Data utilization provides increased value to residents through targeted services, increased transparency, and more efficient use of time when seeking information or services within the City administration.
