Board of Svanni, Women's Loan Guarantee Fund
On April 4, 1995, an agreement was signed between the Mayor, the Minister of Social Affairs, and the Minister of Industry to establish a loan guarantee fund aimed at supporting women's innovation in business.
According to the Fund's statutes, its roles include supporting women who own and operate small businesses, increasing women's access to capital, creating more jobs, and promoting innovation in business. The Fund is jointly owned by the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Industry and Innovation, and Reykjavík City.

The City Executive Council appoints a representative to the Fund's board. Reykjavík City's representative on the board of Svanni is Dóra Björt Guðjónsdóttir.
