You apply for the card at the nearest Reykjavík swimming pool, City Library, City History Museum, Reykjavík Art Museum, Family Park and Zoo or the Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach.
Swimming pool card
Every day can be a swimming day with the Reykjavík City Card.
There is nothing better than going for a swim, as it combines exercise, relaxation and good company.

What is included in the card?

Is there a cost to switch from plastic to electronic card?
No. There is no cost to switch from plastic to electronic card. Your subscriptions are transferred between them.
Will I get a refund for the plastic card?
No. The plastic card is not refundable when switching to an electronic card.
Can I have both a plastic card and an electronic card?
No. When you receive the card on your phone, the plastic card will stop working.
How do I get the card on my phone?
You apply for the card at the nearest Reykjavík swimming pool, City Library, City History Museum, Reykjavík Art Museum, Family Park and Zoo or Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach.
Can I continue to use the plastic card?
Yes. You can choose what suits you. Plastic cards will continue to be available for those who want them. Just remember that it is not possible to have both a plastic card and an electronic card.
