Beach volleyball is a fun and dynamic activity suitable for all ages. Laugardalslaug Pool offers two beach volleyball courts open to everyone. Book a court, pay your pool admission, and hit the sand!
About the court
Laugardalslaug Pool has two beach volleyball courts suitable for both casual play and team practice.
To play, book a time and pay at the front desk—just like you would for a swim. The court is open during the pool's regular hours.
You can book up to two hours at a time. Can't make it? Please cancel so others can play. Please bring your own ball.
No shoes are allowed in the pool area—ask for blue plastic covers at the front desk if needed.
After your game, rake the sand and rinse your feet at the poolside fountain before showering.

How do I book a court?
- Choose Árbæjarlaug, Laugardalslaug, or Gufunesbær.
- Select how long you want to play.
- Select your preferred date and time.
- Enter your name, email, and phone number.
- Select Book.
- You'll receive a confirmation email shortly.
How do I change or cancel a court booking?
- Open the confirmation email you received.
- Select Change time
- Your booking should now open.
- Select Change timing to pick a new slot. To cancel, select Cancel booking.
Prices and admission
- At Árbæjarlaug and Laugardalslaug, pay for court access at the pool front desk.
- Standard pool fees also apply to beach volleyball. For example, you can use your swim pass to access the beach volleyball courts.
Can I play without booking?
Yes, if the court is available. Still, we recommend booking and paying first. This helps us track usage.
